Yes I think tires compound and fuel play a big role in strategy. During the off week of the race I run like 3-4 mock races of the up coming track just to see the tire wear and fuel loads in real race conditions.

yeah i do that too.
i'm working at the moment at a weather forecast widget for the site so people know what to expect.
we are getting to the point where strategy starts really to play a role, i love it

For the current 100 Bullets league races, I'm just not sure if it's worth losing 20 seconds or so of time to pit. Yes your lap times will become slower throughout the race, but if you are driving well it will only be a few seconds per lap. I'm just not sure if it's worth pitting. There will always be people who do not pit so it is quite a tough calculation.

bcredeur you are right, i'm also not sure that why i said it's need to be tested but straight from the math point it should. because the weight advantage at start and later the new tires should make you these 20 sec and more... but like always math is one thing real life another ,)

Rest assured next season you will need to stop, maybe in the amateur division you can pass that but in semi and pro for sure you need, or you never will see the checkered flag ^^

i would love to enforce a mandetory pit stop but i still found no way, apart watching every replay, to verify if people did pit or not... and sorry i don't have that much time at hand to do that, nor the will to do it ,)
